Ananta Samakhom Throne Hall, the only throne hall from pure Italy’s top-tier white marble in Thailand, is located elegantly in the rear area of the King Rama V Equestrian Monument.

 

The neo-Renaissance building which was established in the year 1908 is inspired by the great St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome, Italy, and St. Paul’s Cathedral in London, England.

Jim Thompson House Museum, the bewitching place owned by the former CIA agent, James H. W. Thompson, is a group of 6 traditional-Thai style houses on 1,600 square meters of land by the Saen Saep canal.

Jim Thompson’s house was once named “the centre of Bangkok’s elite” up until his mysterious disappearance in 1967.
